§ 32-7. Water and land use.

  • (a)

    Ordinance No. C-230 adopting the town comprehensive plan, dated December, 1988, and Ordinance No. C-236 which adopted amendments to the adopted plan contain expressions of public policy pertaining to the town's use of land, water, and open spaces. The expressions of public policy are in the form of maps, goals, objectives, and policies, including Levels of Service (LOS), which are declared to be the official long range and comprehensive guide for orderly growth and development of the town.

    (b)

    Ordinance No. C-151, as adopted and amended by subsequent ordinances, regulates the uses of land and water areas of the town by dividing the land and water areas into different zoning districts. Each zoning district defines the use and criteria that must be followed when land is developed in accord with the adopted land uses designated for each parcel of land within the town.

    (c)

    The ordinances cited above and any other ordinances of the town that meet or exceed the requirements of F.S. § 163.3202(2)(b) are hereby adopted and heretofore to be known as the town water and land use regulations.
