§ 14. Independent audit.

Prior to the end of each fiscal year, the Council shall designate a certified public accountant who shall make an independent audit of accounts and other evidences of financial transactions of the town government as of the end of the fiscal year and who shall submit his report to the Council and to the State of Florida as may be required by law.
