§ 44-16. Town Accountant.

The Town Accountant will attend the monthly Council meeting at the end of each fiscal quarter for the purpose of reporting the town finances to the Town Council. In addition, the Town Accountant will attend all Council meetings at which the town budget is on the agenda and will meet with the Mayor and the Town Attorney, at the request of the Mayor, to prepare all schedules for budget and millage rate hearings. The Town Accountant will report only to the Mayor and the Town Council.
