§ 30-31. Lands to which this chapter applies.

(a)

This chapter shall apply to all areas within the jurisdiction of the Town Council of the Town of Medley.

(b)

Coordination with the Florida Building Code. This chapter is intended to be administered and enforced in conjunction with the Florida Building Code. Where cited, ASCE 24 refers to the edition of the standard that is referenced by the Florida Building Code.

(c)

Where terms are not defined in this chapter and are defined in the Florida Building Code , such terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them in that code.

(d)

Where regulation requirements are listed in this chapter and related requirements are listed in the Florida Building Code, the stricter of both requirements shall prevail.
