§ 29-26. Definitions.

  • The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Body of water means all freshwater lakes, ponds, rockpits, rivers, streams and all other submerged lands.

    Creation of rockpit means the removal of fill, rock or other solid material from the surface of land or from beneath the surface of any body of water done for the purpose of creating a body of water of any size whatsoever or the hole or pit.

    Person means an individual, corporation, business trust, estate, trusts, partnership, unincorporated association, or any other legal or commercial entity and shall include any agent or employee thereof.
