§ 14-108. Criminal penalties.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to fail to comply with the requirements and provisions of this article and any person who knowingly fails or refuses to comply with or willfully violates any provisions herein shall upon conviction of such offense be punished by a fine not to exceed $500.00 or by imprisonment not to exceed 60 days in the county jail, or both, in the discretion of the court. For this purpose, any such violation shall be considered to be a misdemeanor of the second degree as provided for by F.S. §§ 775.082 and 775.083.
