§ 11-61. Uniform notice due at completion of work.

  • In addition to any interim and final inspections that may be required to complete any duly-permitted low-voltage alarm system project, alarm contractors shall submit to the town's Building and Zoning Department a uniform notice of a low-voltage alarm system project within 14 days of completing any project. The town Building and Zoning Department shall make the uniform notice available to alarm contractors. The uniform notice may be submitted via hand delivery or mail service, electronically or facsimile, provided that all such submissions are signed by the project-site owner/customer or authorized representative. The uniform notice shall require the provision of information specified in F.S. § 553.793, as may be amended from time to time. The town shall impose against any alarm contractor who fails to timely submit a uniform notice of a low-voltage alarm system project a fine of $25.00 per day, which shall begin to accrue as of the 15th day of completion of the project.
